Job Dates:5/17/2025 through early January 2026
Year-Round position, contracts are renewed annually starting in January
We would prefer applicants who are available for a year-round contract, but will consider partial season availability
Pay:
- $740/wk. B.O.E. Plus additional 20% compensation for Mainstage opening weeks
- Free Housing

Wardrobe Supervisor Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Generate Wardrobe Crew paperwork in conjunction with the Costume Designer, Costume Shop Manager, and Stage Management
- Supervise the wardrobe run crew for each show and assign tracks
- Act as the lead dresser for each production
- Loading in and changing over costume elements for each production
- In conjunction with the Shop Manager, train Apprentices(usually summer only) and/or show specific crew
- Participate in the construction, altering, pulling, fitting, and strike of costume elements for All Mainstage shows, Children’s Theater shows, and our Haunt
- Show laundry and creating a schedule for it
- Maintain a safe, secure, clean organized shop, backstage, and work spaces
- Some shop hours during run weeks, and 2 full shop weeks between one show closing and the next starting tech
- Extensive backstage wardrobe run crew/quick change experience
- Prior Wardrobe Supervisor experience a plus
- Ability to run a crew, including teaching apprentices/show specific crew
- Ability to work in tight spaces for quick changes and sharing the space
- Maintain a positive attitude during stressful moments
- Understanding of excel/google sheets or a similar program for building paperwork
- Ability to quickly do restorable alterations to rented costumes
- Knowledge of costume construction, quick rigging
- Use of an industrial sewing machine, serger, household sewing machines, Blind hemmer a plus
- Experience with Wig Maintenance a plus
- Capacity to solve problems
- Good communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Understanding of the artistic process
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work quickly and accurately with attention to detail
- Driver's license a plus
