To Code or Not to Code
To Code or Not to Code
Description:
Codes and ciphers have been used to protect the integrity of written communications for centuries. Early
codes were developed to encrypt sensitive information in times of war to deceive enemies and spies. In this activity, students will research codes and ciphers on ProQuest and use the information they gather to develop a code or cipher of their own.
