Description:
In this lesson, students experience and identify the themes from a familiar piece of program music, Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, and then compose their own piece of program music using electronic keyboards and multi-track music production software. This lesson can be completed in approximately five, 30-45 minute class periods.
