Science and Technology Makes the World Go Around – Grade Eight
Description:
This lesson highlights the advances of science and
technology in communication, rocketry, agriculture and transportation. Students are grouped in these four categories. Students will research advancements in the science and technology of these categories and design and construct posters communicating those advancements. Groups will present their posters and information relating to the different cultures, inventors and time periods
involved. Post-assessment essays will complete this lesson, evaluating students' comprehension of the advancements in science and technology through the contributions of many different people, cultures and times in history.
