I do a great amount of tutoring and one thing I noticed that helped was when I related this lesson back to something simple that my students already knew so I made up a helpful augmentation involving burglar alarms and companies that make those systems which helps keep criminals out of our homes. In the same way our firewall keeps our at-home data safe from those with similar criminal minds!
