Through the activities presented in these lessons, students will become familiar with the conditions facing the members of the Lewis & Clark Expedition in the early 1800's, as well as the causes and consequences of the Expedition. In addition, students will contextualize the Expedition in relation to their own personal histories and knowledge of the early 1800's events.
