Description:
Gender stereotypes are very common in children's literature. This lesson allows children to look at one or more picture books that counter gender stereotypes. Students at this level will practice their oral comprehension skills, follow the steps of the writing process, and develop their understanding of the potentially harmful nature of stereotypes.
