I Wanted to Fly Like a Butterfly

Description:

Presenting the subject of the Holocaust to young students in elementary school is not simple. The emotionally heavy aspects to this historical period are difficult to grasp. Using the book "I Wanted to Fly Like a Butterfly", the class will discuss the subject of the Holocaust in a way that enables them to take in the story while becoming familiar with basic concepts relating to the Holocaust.
