Ancient Greece
Ancient Greece
Description:
Ancient Greece was not a unified nation, but a collection of Greek city states and colonies concentrated in mainland Greece that spread throughout the Aegean Sea, Asia Minor and Italy. This unit of study will seek to examine and understand ancient Greece, so students are able to understand how differences among cultures are about broadening your horizons regarding other peoples and societies. Students will also acquire important information on how limitations in one culture may have allowed another to thrive, and how the legacy of Greek culture is still evident all around us today.
