Description:
For this activity, have the students spread out in the gym or outside on a field. Explain to the students that they will be forming groups based on the number of times the whistle or horn is blown. Before blowing the whistle instruct the students as to the type of locomotor skill they are to use while forming their groups. For example, if the whistle is blown two times then everyone should form groups of two while skipping.
