Math Hook Up
Description:
For this activity, the teacher makes question cards and answer cards. For example, one card would say 4+2 and another would say 6. The teacher places the cards face down in the activity area. The students move in the specified level, direction or pathway that the teacher calls until she says Stop. The students pick up the card closest to them and then move in the level or pathway that the teacher calls in order to find the answer or question that will go with their card. When they find the correct card, they should "hook up" and continue moving together.
