Description:
The purpose of this activity is to integrate counting and knowledge of colors while performing the skill of jumping on two feet. The students will show proper form while jumping from one lilly pad to another (hula hoop) as the music is playing. When the music stops students stay on their lilly pad. The teacher or student picks a card containing one of the various colors of the lilly pads. If the student is on that color they add one point to their total score. As the activity goes on you can have the student subtract one if they end up on the specified color. No more than 2 frogs are allowed a lilly pad at one time. If a student accidentally jumps outside a lilly pad they automaticly loose one point.
