Description:
For this activity, choose two students to be "turkey taggers," holding stuffed animal turkeys. Two other students are the helping hands, holding foam hand paddles. The rest of the class are moving around the room using locomotor movements. When a student is tagged, they must squat down, flap their arms like wings and make gobble noises. A helping hand can come by, extend their "hand" and help them stand up. The student may join back in the game. After 1-2 minutes, stop the music and change turkey taggers and helping hands.
