Annenberg/CPB's exhibits are an effort to extend the content of their video series through new technologies offered by the Web. Their goal is to provide hands-on learning activities that help students, teachers, and lifelong learners further explore important topics such as physics, environment, ethics, and the Renaissance.They select educators who are experts in their fields and who also are familiar with classroom use of their video series to plan the content for the exhibits. By bringing these educators together with a team of Web and multimedia experts, they are able to create interactive exhibits one can enjoy in the classroom and at home. This particular exhibit focuses on the laws of physics and how they are used to create amusement park rides. This site offers users a chance to design their own roller coaster to better explore the forces of physics.
