The Math Forum

Description:
This site is divided into four main sections: Student Center, Teachers' Place, Research Division, and Parents & Citizens. In the Student Center there are weekly challenges, a section where students can get help on homework by asking Dr Math, and other activities that encourage students to use the Internet in a productive way. In the Teachers' Place there is information on lesson plans, Internet activities and projects, and discussion forums that provide many resources for communication with other teachers and links to professional organizations. The Research Division is primarily for mathematicians looking for research information, software, job opportunities, and a place to talk to other mathematicians. The Parents & Citizens section is a great resource for parents to encourage and help students. This site has information and math pages for students from kindergarten through graduate school. It also includes the Math Forum's Internet Math Library, which is a comprehensive catalog of Web sites and Web pages relating to the study of mathematics.
