Votes For Women: Acquaintances, Old and New, Among Reformers

Description:
The Library of Congress' American Memory Project - Votes For Women: National American Woman Suffrage Association Collection 1848-1921: Acquaintances, Old and New, Among Reformers. This volume is an autobiographical account of Olympia Brown's work in the early women's rights movement. It is well-written and easy to read. Its treatment of the events surrounding the early suffrage campaign is a bit superficial but it might provide a good overview for high school students.
