Description:
These lessons in drama teach "drama in context," meaning that dramas are structured to provide a context, a situation or a metaphoric framework in which students and teacher work together. Within each lesson, students and teacher assume roles and enter into a fictional world prepared to accept and "live through" an imagined situation. This site includes several units for students in grades 6-8, as well as assessment suggestions, and steps to follow when examining plays.
