MY HERO is an interactive site made for the entire family. At the heart of this Internet site is the belief that there are and always have been, good people and positive role models in every aspect of our daily lives. Jackie Melnick is such a person. Together with her husband, she founded Musicorda, and later The Children's String Workshop, a summer musci program for inner city children who had never had any musical instruction before. These programs have made it possible for many children to move on to careers in music. Without Jackie's hard work and dedication they would never have had a chance at all.
