MY HERO is an interactive site made for the entire family. At the heart of this Internet site is the belief that there are and always have been, good people and positive role models in every aspect of our daily lives. Galileo was a hero because he stood by his belief that the sun was the center of the universe, and not the earth. He was placed under house arrest for his views, but held fast in the face of adversity. He is best known for his invention of the telescope.
