MY HERO is an interactive site made for the entire family. At the heart of this Internet site is the belief that there are and always have been, good people and positive role models in every aspect of our daily lives. Eleanor Roosevelt was such a person. She was a wife, mother, statesperson and world crusader for justice and good will. She used her position in society to champion the poor and oppressed. She also worked alongside her husband when he was president, to help get the country out of the Depression.
