At the heart of this Internet site is the belief that there are and always have been, good people and positive role models in every aspect of our daily lives. John Muir was a man devoted to the preservation of the natural environment. His work led to the establishment of the US National Park System. He was the founding president of the Sierra Club and many of his writings are still being published.
