MY HERO is an interactive site made for the entire family. At the heart of this Internet site is the belief that there are and always have been, good people and positive role models in every aspect of our daily lives. Terry Fox was such a person. He lost a leg to cancer when he was a teenager. He decided to run across Canada to raise funds for cancer research. Although he died after the cancer spread to his lungs the run he made demonstrated his tenacity and courage. It is now known as the Marathon of Hope and is made every year in his memory.
