Located on a 79 acre site in St. Louis, the Missouri Botanical Garden is world-renowned for its fundamental botanical research, horticultural display and education programs. The Garden has one of the world's largest and most active botanical research programs, focused on the tropics, and providing basic information on the world's botanical diversity. The Garden's grounds present a wide variety of outstanding thematic gardens, including the Climatron, the world's first geodesic dome greenhouse, and the largest Japanese Garden in North America.
