Description:
Mathematics in Context (MiC) is a comprehensive mathematics curriculum for grades 5-8. Curriculum materials were tested in classrooms and the program is used by more than 400 U.S. school districts. The curriculum reflects the content and pedagogy suggested by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Curriculum and Evaluation of Standards for School Mathematics, and NCTM's Professional Standards for Teaching Mathematics.
