Kemp Natural Resources Station

Description:
Located in Oneida County, the Kemp Natural Resources Station is dedicated to natural resources research and education. The station offers laboratory, classroom, lodging, and dining facilities to groups dealing with natural resources outreach, teaching or research. A number of environmental education events are hosted each year, including Eco Trek for middle school students and a new aquatic-environments program targeted at 4th-graders. Station personnel will also visit classrooms. The Kemp Station does not offer "prefab" programs, but will work with individual educators and welcomes K-12 teachers and students to their site.
