The Money Camp is a not-for-profit organization based in Santa Barbara, CA that offers a financial literacy curriculum for children and adults in Southern California. The Money Camp for Kids uses an innovative day camp format to provide middle and high school age students with the financial tools they need to choose and create financial independence. Through fun-filled games, activities, group exercises and field trips, kids learn how money works. They learn that financial independence is their choice and their responsibility. The curriculum is designed to be taught in a 5 day summer camp setting, but can also be used in a traditional class room setting because it is designed in modules. Teacher training is also offered in the Money Camp financial literacy curriculum.
