This lesson is designed for teachers and students to use while studying The Master Puppeteer by Katherine Paterson. The Master Puppeteer is a historical fiction novel based on Medieval Japan. In this lesson, students will either create a multimedia presentation displaying their research on Bunraku puppetry, or create a small scale puppet show mimicking the Bunraku style.
