Chop/Eraser Stamp

Description:
Eastern artists use a signature block called a "chop." The "chop" is a mark or symbol printed on artwork. It identifies the artist and serves as the artist's mark or signature. It is usually stamped in red ink in the lower right hand corner of the artwork. In this lesson, students will create their own "chop" block.
