This unit of study, with the exception of the film, "China a Century of Revolution: The Mao Years", is entirely web-based.The student page, the art-related web activities page, and the additional links page provide links to sites for students to read, research, and explore art works relevant to the Cultural Revolution.This unit may be as broad or narrow in scope as fits your needs. Student activities, discussion questions, and guidelines for viewing web sites are provided. Activities and readings may be printed, photocopied and distributed for entire class discussion, or students may work individually on-line. Students must be on-line to explore the art exhibitions.
