Find out what you can do to keep the water in our environment clean. If you are a Girl Scout, you can earn patches by completing some of these water- related activities. This project was jointly developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital (GSCNC). The purpose of the project is to encourage girls to: 1) Make a difference in their communities by becoming watershed and wetlands stewards, 2) Use their skills and their knowledge to educate others in their communities about the need to protect the nation's valuable water resources, and 3) Explore the natural world to gain an interest in science and math
