Experimentation with drugs often begins in early adolescence. Students will be able to evaluate the health hazards of illegal and legal drugs and explain why it is important to stay drug-free. Students will be able to interpret knowledge about drug abuse and will describe the short-term and long-term health risks of using drugs.
