Oregon Museum of Science and Industry

Description:
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry began as an idea in the minds of a few Portland civic leaders who wanted to create a museum that didn't have "do not touch" signs on every exhibit. They believed interest in science is best cultivated in an active, engaging environment away from school books and blackboards, and that open-ended exploration of science would pique the interest of people of all ages. This website provides information on the Museum's programs and exhibits, as well as online activities for classroom use.
