Description:
The Boston Museum of Science (MOS) has something for everyone. There are a variety of pages within the site useful to students, teachers, and the general public. The opening pages provide a number of choices. The pages on the museum's exhibits serve as an introduction for anyone planning a visit. For those beyond the visiting range, there are website exhibits with text and illustrations. There are also links to other sites on any given topic and a relevant article written by a scholar in the field. The articles may be of use to any student searching for a primary source to include in a paper. The Learn More section may be useful to teachers. The topically listed videos in the Lyman library are available to regional teachers and to MOS members. The Educator's Cheapbook contains numerous demonstrations and activities presented in various grade levels but all well explained. The MOS site has information about on-site courses and a number of museum services as well as the ones described above. These would be of great interest to science students at all grade levels, the public, and teachers in the region.
