Girl Tech is devoted to encouraging girls in technology use. Research has shown that peer group, family, education, industry, and media all affect girls' self-perceptions. Reaching girls through all five channels is the most effective way to help them see how important technology is to their lives. This site provides technology-related lesson plans developed by Girl Tech, as well as opportunities for educators to share ideas and information.
