EduStock
Description:
The site bills itself as an educational web page designed to teach young and old alike, what the stock market is, and how it can work for them. It includes tutorials on the stock market and how to pick good stocks. It also provides information on a select group of companies to help you start your research into what stock is going to make your fortune. Last of all, it provides a FREE 20 minute delayed Stock market simulation on the World Wide Web. There is sufficient information on the accompanying pages to get a good idea of how the stock market works, how to investigate a stock/company, and how to get started investing in it, if that is your interest. The ?simulation? page allows the user to set up an imaginary $100,000 account with a portfolio chosen from nine different stocks. These may be bought and sold as wished, and the results followed as the stocks actually trade on the stock market.
