This resource, which is part of Miami Museum of Science, provides links to an original Museum of Science exhibition discovering how energy works and how it affects your life. THE ATOMS FAMILY exhibition is an interactive exhibit, which uses environmental set design and gothic horror characters as hosts to encourage exploration of fundamental energy concepts -- the power of the sun, energy conservation, energy transformation, electricity and fossil fuels. Throughout the exhibit, computer interactives, hosted by the likes of Frankenstein, Dracula, the Mummy and Wolfman, help visitors gain a basic understanding of atomic structure and explain the role of atoms in matter and energy.
