Description:
In these activities, students will improve their understanding and appreciation of "herps" (reptiles and amphibians.) In one activity, students will iscuss some of the misconceptions people have about herps and describe ways to improve the image of herps. In another, students will learn about some ways herps have been viewed throughout history. Students will write to "pen pals" from the point of view of a reptile or amphibian, and finally they will discuss ways to create an educational herp exhibit and describe several interesting facts about herps.
