The program introduces equations and promotes the development of algebraic thinking. After an assessment, the software helps students by breaking down problems into small, easily understood steps. Step-by-step tutorials introduce each level and can be referred to when practicing. A portfolio section helps students clarify their math thinking and lets teachers know if the concepts are being understood. Students are able to track their progress through their progress-to-date and session scores. Student scores are kept in a management system that allows teachers to view and print reports.
