Description:
This Internet-based collaborative project will allow your students to share information about the plants, animals and non-living objects found in their schoolyard environment with other students from around the country and the world. The project has been developed for elementary level students in grades 1 to 6 but is open to anyone who is interested. The project will span a wide range of subject areas including: science, math, language arts, reading, geography and social studies and is flexible in regards to how it can be implemented.
