Lesson Tutor: Writer Reader Connection

Description:
After reviewing some tips for good writing (identifying a purpose for writing, writing what you know, and writing with the audience in mind), students are asked to complete two writing assignments: 1) write in a journal for 5 minutes about the kinds of writing that they want to do and 2) write a letter to a friend in which they describe a recent trip that they took.
