Scientific American Frontiers - Robots Alive!: Mazes and Squiggles (Teaching Guide)
Description:
In "Robots Alive! Mazes and Squiggles," autonomous robots compete to see which ones can navigate a maze of offices in one contest and locate and collect tennis balls in the other. The teaching guide provides two activities, including: - Activity 1: Picking Up a Cup - Activity 2: AAAI (American Association of Artificial Intelligence) Challenge Event. The objective for both activities is to understand a programmer's job by writing instructions for a robot to perform specific tasks.
