In this lesson, students study the Denali Wilderness of Alaska and identify predator and prey relationships of animals. Students will: - role play moose and wolves to re-enact the predator/prey relationship between the two species found in Denali National Park - demonstrate the relationship between wolves and moose through an outdoor activity - reflect and record in student science journals on how the balance of nature works between wolves and moose in Denali National Park. The lesson provides a list of materials needed, estimated time, teaching strategies, and assessment recommendations, as well as extensions/adaptations.
