In this lesson, students learn about an animal living in the rain forest of Manu, how it survives, and the threats that exist regarding its survival. Students will: - choose an animal character from the Manu program and role play that Manu animal - research background material on the Manu animal they choose - give a classroom presentation expressing the environment of the animal and the threats that exist regarding its survival. The lesson provides a list of materials needed, teaching strategies, assessment recommendations, and extension/adaptation suggestions.
