Students will: - have conducted research on an African animal of their choice - relate the concepts of population, climate, and biodiversity - demonstrate an understanding of population interactions in an ecosystem - develop a culminating activity relating the major concepts presented in the unit. The lesson provides a list of materials needed, estimated time, teaching strategies, and assessment recommendations, as well as extensions/adaptations. Related national standards in science are also noted.
