A few students want to use these alarms for their own homes and I am wondering how they actually stack up to the more mass produced and expertly made home security systems available, like these here www.homesecuritysystems.net. I don't want any one of my students to create their own alarms and rely on them when there is actually a false sense of security! Does anyone have any experience with this?
